How do I open my own gallery on TheStarvingArtist.com?
Click the "Sign Up" link in the navigation bar on the homepage and follow the prompted instructions. You can sign in via your Facebook account or by registering with the site. After registration, you'll receive a welcome email from us after which you'll be set to begin uploading your artwork!
How much does it cost to become a member of the site?
The site is completely FREE to use. It doesn't matter if you're an artist or buyer, we will never charge you any fee to list or browse the artwork. TheStarvingArtist.com charges a small commission only when your artwork sells.
Is there any limit with how many pieces I can upload to my gallery?
There is absolutely no limit with how many pieces you can upload to your gallery!
How do I get paid for my art once it sells?
When you sign up for an account and create your gallery, you will provide us with your Paypal email address. Payments will be sent directly to your Paypal account on the 1st and 15th of each month. You will be notified as soon as your artwork sells both via email and in your user account. If you don't have paypal, simply follow the link provided in the registration process and create a FREE account.
How should I ship my art once it sells?
Head to your local Post Office, UPS, or Fedex store. There you will be able to purchase proper shipping material and ship your artwork securely. Please read our blog for recommended shipping and handling procedures.
